I think (could be wrong) PayFlow will be similar to PayPal and PayPal Pro, they are separate gateways. And by the way, PayPal takes a lot for us to support.
I should add that we can add custom gateways if a customer finds it important enough: https://eventespresso.com/product/custom-gateway-development/
