Dear Espresso,
I have a repeating event it start this month and runs weekly till sometime in December. When I put “Yoga” in the filter it only brings up the last 6 events i.e. in December, and this is despite having “show 100 entries”

Hi Liz,
The image is unavailable. Have you tried clicking the reset filters button (http://d.pr/i/sxVB – top right) to see if that helps?

What this will be is the database retrieval system that we have added.
By default the system will now only retrieve 50 events from the database, so the live filter will only work with that amount.
There is a drop down box above the event list http://d.pr/i/qStF where you can change the number of events retrieved (50, 100, 250, 500 or all). The more events you have retrieved the more events the live filter will search through.
The downside to having more events available is server resources. The whole idea behind introducing this was to help those on shared or less powerful server setups to not have their admin crash when they have hundreds/thousands of events

Incidently I think having Three filter buttons is a bit confusing for
the user, not sure why there isn’t one and the code checks what’s been
set?
I hear what you are saying here, it isn’t the most intuitive of systems, i’ll pop a feature request down to see if we can resolve that in future updates.
