  • WP version: 3.5.1
  • Installed Add-ons: Calendar, Mailchimp, Social,
Multiple Event Registration, Members Add on
  • Recently updated, but not
    recently upgraded

URL to page with error: http://americanscandinavian.org/event-registration/?page_id=9&regevent_action=post_multi_attendee

The event I am testing registration to: http://americanscandinavian.org/event-registration/?ee=11

The error occurs when I put items in the “cart” and then I click to “purchase” – I get a page with these 2 error messages:

Warning: require_once(/home/content/46/9782646/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/alipay/init.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/46/9782646/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/main.php on line 1193

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/46/9782646/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/alipay/init.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /home/content/46/9782646/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/main.php on line 1193

I don’t know why Alipay is even mentioned? I have no idea how to fix it – and the email flyer for this event just went out an hour ago!!! Help?

Thanks 🙂

Did the Alipay gateway get activated accidentally? If so, you can try deactivating it. If not, you cab try removing the gateway from the event-espresso/gateways directory.

Hi!
Thank you for your fast reply. That’s what I thought too- that maybe it got activated when I upgraded EE, but the strange part is that Alipay is not even listed as an option on my payment gateway page.
I also FTP’ed into the plug ins folder and navigated to gateways – and there is no folder for Alipay.
So how is it looking for that file if I don’t even see it in order to turn it off?

Thanks,
Cindy

Ahhhh – I fixed it.
I got home and dug out my hard drive of my original event espresso .zip download from last fall and found an Alipay folder in there. I dragged it into the current site via FTP, then went into the admin console and deactivated it. It seems to work now. I don’t know how it disappeared, but luckily I had the original file to put it back! I never touched Alipay in my life, so I”m baffled.

Anyway – you can close this out. Thanks!
