Multiple email address for user

Hi,

Can I have two email address fields for the user to fill in and send them 2 confirmation emails after the event register is done?

We can modify the template if it is needed, please hint us what to do, Thanks!

Hello,

Well you could add an additonal Question to obtain the secondary email, however getting it integrated into the plugin to be used as an email would require changes to the core code of the plugin, which would require some custom development work.

What is the purpose of the secondary email? If it is for an additional person, why not allow group registrations and request the Personal Information from the Additional Attendees, which would gather name and email?

If we use additional attendee information, will the additional attendee receive an confirmation email?

Hi,

Yes, if additional attendees are used and at least the Personal Information is selected so the system gathers an email then they will receive a confirmation email.

Hi Dean, it seems that this method will generate a separate ticket. We are trying to have only ticket with the ability to scan twice. Please help.

Hi,

Right one ticket with ability to scan twice, and an additional email address that can be emailed. It isn’t possible with the plugin currently.

You could perhaps as mentioned have some customisation done to allow the additional email (as a question) to be logged and mailable.

Other than that you would have to export the attendee data for that event and strip out the emails from the CSV file and add them to a mailing list

Hi Dean, do advise how the customization can be done, is it by the espresso team? Do advise on duration and cost as well
