Dear Sirs I just installed and activated the espresso-api on my site to check out the iPad app.

My WP site is hosted as a sub domain to http://www.ragdollyoga.com. http://kurs.ragdollyoga.com or http://www.ragdollyoga.com/kurs/

I tried http://www.ragdollyoga.com/kurs/testdrive/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json after activating the plugin and expected to receiva a JSON response but got a page not found message.

Hello Duncan.

The testdrive aspect of the URL is part of the testing servers url so can be ignored.

http://kurs.ragdollyoga.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json Provides a JSON response though it is an error.

This error is because the setting “Allow Public API Access?” is set to Don’t Allow in Event Espresso > API settings.

Changing that should show you the JSON data.

Hey dont feel stupid, I spent some time figuring it out hen I first got my hands on it, it is designed with developers in mind, so its not for the faint hearted.

If you get stuck again, just let us know.
