Hi we’re having issues of some guests paying, we know for certain of one guest being charged much larger amounts than they should have and no record of their purchased in the EE system. Our concern obviously is overselling tickets to these small events. Is there any way to see the total amount of sales in EE and we can match it to paypal to estimate how many issues there are like this? Apart from telling us to upgrade, do you have any insight on how to try and resolve or match paypal payments to EE attendees? Thanks |

Hello Iris, In the attendee list for the particular event (or all events) you can see which attendees have paid and by what method. Exporting the list to a spreadsheet will provide the number of attendess per registration and amount paid. |

Thanks Dean, I’m aware of where EE should show attendees, my issue is that users are checking out, paying – funds clearing in paypal but zero record on the wp/EE database. |

And is there a way to see the total sum of sales? |

Ok, so nothing is appearing at all? No attendee details? Or is it just no payment details? Are you using Paypal or Paypal Pro? Do you have HTTPS installed? |

Either export the spreadsheet and do an auto sum, or check the reports for the individual events (Event Overview > attendees (for specific event) > View Report (in the filters section at the top), which will give you month by month totals. |

From what I can tell it is one isolated sale which was charged at an inflated price x3 and has no record in the database or EE. There was an issue of TXN page not being set and some sales being set as pending – but does not explain no record. Its paypal, not pro and we’re not using SSL. Also from going through paypal trying to match our sales – theres inconsistency in the data that EE is sending to paypal, every sale says its only for 1 ticket (in paypal) regardless if its 10 tickets that were sold, and some paypal sales data has nothing at all in terms of the information on the sale (besides x1 ticket). |

We have had issues before where a user will click the button a few times and it will inflate the price, though I believe that is resolved. Never come across the missing attendee issue before though. With this being an isolated case, I am unsure how best to debug or recreate it but I will refer it on to a dev for their opinion. > theres inconsistency in the data that EE is sending to paypal, every I will raise this with the dev’s to look into. |
Hi Iris, Which version of Event Espresso is currently installed on your site? |
