I have a list of events with set prices. I would like to the customers to be able to book them, but I do not want to give them an option to pay for the booking during the reservation. I only want them to provide personal details. No Payment.
I have tried to set the “Enable attendee pre-approval feature?” for yes and for No. I tried to set the “Atendee pre-approval required” for events to both Yes and No. No luck. I keep getting the page where it says that I need to select a payment method. The only situation when I can reserve a course without paying is for events with price equal to 0.
What am I doing wrong here?
On extra note, I am using the multiple event registration plugin.

Hi Jens,
Your not doing anything wrong, the above behavior is how Event Espresso is expected to work. Tickets with Prices require payment, therefor EE will always offer payment options for those events.
The Attendee pre-approval feature basically stops the attendees being counted towards the actual final attendee list until there registrations is approved and will not stop attendee payments.
The only way I can think of doing what your asking is to set the Event price to 0.00 for a free event, then hide any reference to the event price using CSS and state the price within the event description. You could then edit each attendee’s ticket price once they have registered.
Does that make sense?

I understand what you are writing, but it’s not exactly satisfying solution.
I chose the Invoice option from Payment gateways go go as closely as possible to what I was looking for.
Please close the topic.
