I have two people on campus testing our registration form and they are not receiving the confirmation email. When I do it, I get it. Any ideas?

Send payment confirmation emails? is set to YES
Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received? is set to NO

Have they double checked their spam folder?

Is this a free or paid ticket? If paid, are those users making a full payment for the event?

Are you using any mailing services to send the emails are just the hosts mailserver?

During testing there is no dollar amount attached to the registration. I had them check yesterday when they submitted their registration and there was nothing there. I am using “Easy WP SMTP” plugin, which I use in a number of WP sites.

FYI, I am being notified via email that a registration was made.

I still have the details you sent the other day so I’ve just ran a registration on the event and received the email without a problem.

What type of email accounts are these users using?

name@esu.edu, but keep in mind that 250 people from off campus will be registering for this event. Not sure what to do.

I received noticed that you registered.

Tony, it might have resolved it self. One of my testers said she got the confirmation this morning. I am having her submit a new registration using her personal email address.

BTW – what time zone are you guys in? I ask because responses seem to end around noon here even though your site says your support hours are from 7am-7pm EST.

EE can only trigger the emails using wp_mail() which then passes them over to your mailserver, which in your case is where ever you are using the ‘Easy WP SMTP’ to send them but after the we have no control over the emails.

As I’m receiving them the emails are being triggered so its more likely to be an issue with the mailserver(s) involved.

You could try switching to a transactional email service such as SendGrid and see if you still have the same problem.
