Just wondering is there a way to implement new No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA in EE3? We get more and more complaints about poeple not being able to register cause captcha is not readable.

Hi Kat,
The newest reCaptcha from Google is available for Event Espresso 4 at this time. It isn’t available for Event Espresso 3.

Event Espresso 3.1.37.13.p was released today and it includes the update to the reCAPTCHA module. The newer version does a photo match challenge instead of typing letters from fuzzy words.

Josh, I just upgraded to Event Espresso 3.1.37.13.p and wound up deleting my captcha key, creating a new one and putting both of them in the captcha settings page… and still it’s not coming up. Is there something more I need to do? Do I need to update html someplace, or is that already done in the updated EE3 version? Thanks.

Hi Lori,
Unless your overriding EE3’s templates you shouldn’t need to change anything else.
Are you logged into the site when testing? The reCaptcha will only show when you are not logged in.
I just ran a quick test on the site linked to your license and did see the reCaptcha – http://take.ms/rUllU
