I have a business licence including support and update – but within my WordPress installation there’s no direct automatic update of the Event Espresso plugin.
Anyone?
PS: I had no problems updating the other EE-plugins

Hi Fakta,

I’m unsure as to why the update has not been displayed within the dashboard. I will ask one of the developers if they can shed some light on why this could have happened.

In the meantime I have reset your license key. If you download and install the latest version of Event Espresso, and re-save your license key that should stop any further issues.

Having said that, if you do find you have further issues please do let us know.

That sounds good – thank you.
If I follow your instructions and download the newest version then I assume it will overwrite the version I have already?
How do I save my data during this manouver?

All event data is stored within the database and as such will not be deleted.

I would advise you to perform a full backup (as with any update) of both your current event espresso files (and add-ons) and database. Just as a precaution.

There is a guide available HERE on the steps involved in updating Event Espresso.
