I’m not sure when this started happening but some posts (non-EE) are showing today’s date as the post date (I think). http://capechamber.co.za/latest-news/.
The files that’s displaying the date is parts/entry-date-format.php, which is an EE page. I’m a bit puzzled.
The parts/entry-date-format.php template file I provided in this thread is not actually an EE page, but a modified version of your themes template file to output the correct date (using the first datetime for the event) and will only effect Event Espresso events.
The date output on the page you have linked to appears to be using a different format than that template file will output so it is unlikely it uses that template.
As this appears to be an issue with your theme I would recommend contacting the theme author and see if they can help with this.
You guys provided me with an alternate version of this file previously as our EE events were displaying the wrong date. I can see that the code that is causing this problem is from the original theme’s code. I got confused as I saw the code you wrote, I checked the support case and you wrote the code for you 🙂 – https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-showing-post-date-not-start-date/. Either ay it’s not your code that’s causing the problem so I have to deal with AIT Themes again, who are useless. Thanks.
