New to Espresso Need Help Installing update

I am new to Espresso events. I run a website for an ROTC program and have updated wordpress and espresspo both. I keep getting an error message “Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/oualumni/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/registration_page.php on line 77. How do I update espresso from its expired version with a new SL key?

Hi,

Your support license key can be found on your account page here:

https://eventespresso.com/users/sooneradmin/

Copy it. Then go to your WP dashboard and locate Event Espresso in the admin menus. Then click on General Settings.

Once on the general settings page, scroll towards the bottom and remove the existing key (if there is one) and paste your new key. Then save changes.

This should prompt you to update any addons for Event Espresso if they are out of date.
