New Plugin Image Buttons Don't Work

I can not upload a featured image to my events nor insert images or media file. The buttons do not work. I had tried Safari and Firefox browsers and I get the same response. Can someone please help me with this?

Also, The custom-files plugin doesn’t show up in my plugins list after I install it. So I cannot activate it. Is that suppose to happen?

Help!

How did this get fixed? I am having the same problem and despite turning off non EE plug-ins, I can’t find a fix.

@mpurse:

I deactivated a plugin that was conflicting with the event expresso plugin. Try turning off all your plugins while the event expresso plugins are active. THen activate each one (one at a time to see which one cause the image upload or button problem.

@seth:

Could you answer my second question in my initial post. I still have not figured that one out. How do I know whether or not the custom-files plugin is active or not. It does not display in my list of plugins.

Thanks,
Shinshuri

@tmccowin you need to extract the custom files addon zip. Then upload the files to the wp-content/uploads/espresso/ directory. However, the files need to be uploaded to the correct locations, so please refer to the readme file that is in the custom files addon.
