Hi – we have noticed that since last Friday each checkout asks for a promo code to complete the registration, and without it the registration cannot be completed. We have not created any promotion lately so we really don’t know what is happening.
Please help ASAP as since friday ALL ticket registrations are marked incomplete and we are losing business…

What exactly happens if you leave the Promotion code field blank? Is there a specific error message?

Hi there,
I checked on your site and whilst there is an option to add a promo code the user can click to pay using the ‘Pay Now’ button at the bottom – http://take.ms/YFT4A
EE does not require a Promotion code is entered to complete the registration, but it does require a promo code is entered into the field if click to submit a promo code.
We have not created any promotion lately so we really don’t know what is happening.
Have you created a promotion code that applies to ‘all scope items’ (all events in this case)?

Hi there. After checking with our WP maintenance team this happened after they upgraded the site to the latest versions of EE4 addons, including the Promotions one, last Friday.
It seems something changed in the css so that the Pay Now Div was “hidden”, as well as adding too much blank space between the promotion section and Pay Now.
(My guy has manually fixed it now, so that’s why Tony you saw that it worked).
Please check the latest update versions of the addons to see if something needs to be corrected there.
Btw we use the Divi wp theme.

There was a change in the recent version of EE4 core where the html division that wraps the credit card payment form had a mismatched closing tag. Your site’s custom CSS was likely hiding the entire division, when instead it should have specifically targeted only the part they wanted to hide.
