Hi Support
Is there a way to configure whether EE4 sends out notifications when a new event is created to users? And if so, what users (roles)? We would like some user roles to receive notifications of new events but not others. I had a look through the forums but couldn’t find anything that seems to address this. If there is, can you point me in the right direction.

Hi Chris,
That’s not something built into Event Espresso, however you could use a plugin such as ‘Better notifications for WordPress‘ which allows you to setup notifications and set specific actions that will trigger those notifications.
So you could setup a new notification to send on when a New event is created and that notification could be sent to any user role or specific users.
