When someone registers to an event on my website, the previous entry is overwritten by the new registration. I just purchased a new version of EE because my old one was expired.
Hi Mike,
So is the prior attendee record gone or is it the same record (ID) and it’s attached to a new event? Which version of Event Espresso is installed right now?
The prior record is gone! As I said the new record over writes it I.E. the new registrations are REPLACING the last entry.
I am running EE3. I think I might have accidentally purchased an EE4 license because my support licence key is not working is they a way to switch my new licence to EE3? But the more CRITICAL matter right now is that new registrations are replacing the last entry.
You might not understand… The entire record is not gone, just the entry within the record. So if I go into the excel sheet, the previous entry has been replaced by the new entry.
Do you have a caching mechanism set up on that site Mike? Do you intend on filling out the redeem a support token form that’s linked on your account page?
I’ll make a note for someone on the sales team to contact you about switching licenses.
I do not know about a caching mechanism. All I know is that it used to work and now it has this MAJOR issue. I am filling out a form to allow you access to my website right now. I will let you know when it has been submitted. When you are in my account can you see if you can get the license key to work?
We resolved this issue yesterday evening. If you notice anything else, then feel free to reply to Seth’s email.
Thanks
