I need to report this bug – I wanted to change a ticket price from 62 to 62.5 and could not do it with the advanced editor. It made the price 625. I tried my keypad with numlock on and off and also the regular keyboard. The only way to change the price was to go back to legacy editor. The new editor is NOT intuitive and looks like a carnival – very, very bad design.

I did try it on my end, but everything seems fine. May we know what EE version you are using? Can you also tell us what currency is that and if you can take screenshot of the country setting.

You can do this by going to your EE dashboard -> General Settings -> Country

can you also shoot a video for us, you can use loom to do that.

thanks

I can replicate it. This morning when I tried to change the dollar amount in the Advanced Editor it worked fine, so I don’t know what I was doing wrong. The country is set to the United States and I just bought it – version 5.0.11.p.

One problem I still have is that my client is offering a free ticket if you buy tables. The ticket price is $75.00. Everything works for the amounts of 10, 12, and 15 – but the amount for a table of 8 has to be 65.625 – I can put it in, but it then displays $525.04 (rounding up). Any way around that?

I can reproduce this within the ticket price calculator.

It works when editing the prices on the cards themselves: https://monosnap.com/file/2wQu6N3Hvjxpb3USvFKFHX3mMhnqGX

But not within the Ticket Price Calculator:

This appears to be a conflict between JavaScript itself, HTML inputs, and how React processes input data.

React re-renders the output after each keystroke.

JavaScript doesn’t consider 12. a valid number and truncates it to 12, then you carry on typing the decimal places and the number ends up 1250

You don’t need to switch to the legacy editor to adjust that price, just type the numbers in first then place the decimal, that works because 12.50 is considered a valid number.

I’ve created a ticket for our developers to investigate this further.

So when I input the values into the Ticket Price Calculator, with a price of 65.625 it displays £525.00 correctly, it does round the ticket price display to be 65.63 but the total is correct:

Where is it rounding to .04 for you?

Originally, the first time I call up the page it shows $525.00 – but after several refreshes it changes to $525.04. I can send a screenshot if you wish.

Also I had a test ticket. I deleted all the transactions and registrations, and went to maintenance and reset datatimes – but it is still showing 2 tickets sold. How can I reset that?
Thanks,

The easiest way to do it is just copy the ticket, then delete the old one afterward.
