I’m struggling to get the iOS app to pull in all the details it needs – because I don’t have a clear list of user capabilities needed for it to operate properly. Struggling to locate via google or the EE documentation
Also I’m using WP Basic Auth, because I cannot work out how to get the app specific passwords working, and previously when the app first came out my web host was having an issue with the normal auth method. I’m now getting lots of security prompts which is a bit concerning. So perhaps this is having a bearing?
Hey so for me I needed to add the read contacts ones to show the names in the app – perhaps the list is missing these?
Also I’m using the basic auth plugin at the moment. How do I migrate away from this if we think my host has to use its methodology? How would I test going back to the normal JSON API?

I’m not sure I follow. Migrate away from what?

I’m not sure what you assert when you mention going back to a normal JSON API. The JSON API that’s used by the mobile apps is the same JSON API that’s built into Event Espresso 4 core, which extends the JSON API that’s been built into WordPress core so far.
