We sell high dollar class ($2,000) and sometimes people register multiple people. We occasionally have issue with max limit of credit card and need to break amount down into multiple payments. How can we achieve this in EE? (We are using Infusionsoft gateway)

Currently Event Espresso does not have the mechanisms in place to support partial payments. I can recommend contacting IvyCat and request a quote for building out a partial payment solution to your specs. They have experience with building custom Event Espresso 3 extensions for specific use cases like this one.
