Need start and stop times for Promotional codes/discounts in EE3
(before you answer please note that I cannot use EE4 – must have World Pay)
Client needs to change the price as the event date gets closer am not happy staying up til midnight to do this….
EE3 Doesn’t not seem to let me set start and end times in Promo/Discount codes – is there a plugin that will allow me to do it? Even better if I could set it as an automatic discount without needing a promo code.
1st one is easy I set an end date without a coupon but that ends on a Tuesday at Midnight –
2nd discount is for Wednesday which ends at midnight Thursday
3rd discount is for those that register on Thursday
Friday is full price before 10am…….

Hi,
I can advise to contact this developer and they can build you a WorldPay gateway for Event Espresso 4. Then you’ll be able to use the Event Espresso 4 Promotions add-on which has the feature to set up automatic discounts without needing promo codes.
EE3 has very limited support for discounts because of the way the pricing data is structured. So even a custom built plugin to add start and stop times for EE3 discounts would require significant development.

Thank you Josh,
I contacted them already when they were first suggested to me (in May) – they will not build it. Moshin said that EE4 is a low priority for them … perhaps now that it is July I should ask again!

From their website homepage FAQ:
Can you integrate a payment gateway with my plugin?
Yes. We can integrate a payment gateway into your plugin, provided the payment gateway provides an API.
Client’s WorldPay account is a Merchannt Account – there is no API – which is why I can use it with EE3 – it allows me to enter the client numer on set up – not an API…..

The details used to authenticate with your merchant account does not mean they don’t have an API, in short the above means they can integrate with the merchant, providing the merchant has a method available to do so.

WordPay does not have API for this type of account- have asked them. Was too hard to get this account at all – can’t risk changing or losing it.
But thanks for thinking about it. The first link you sent me can do it – hoping they are able to think about pricing it for me now.
