Hello,
I need to hook at the exact moment when the IPN get confirmation of a ticket sale. My callback function needs the payer’s contact information in order to produce a charity receipt.
Could you point me in the right direction please.

In gateways/paypal/paypal_ipn.php line 28 is where the payment is confirmed and EE’s payment status is switched to “Completed”. You could put a hook in there. do_action(‘espresso_paypal_payment_completed’);

Could there be a hook inside the function where the EE’s payment status is switched to “Completed”? It would then not be gateway dependant?

Could you confirm the following:
The hook action_hook_espresso_email_after_payment inside the function event_espresso_txn() in event-espresso/gateways/process_payments.php:162.
Does this hook get systematically processed at every and all transactions? Because the function seems to be a Shortcode Callback. I hesitate a little to use it, if the shortcode is missed in any way.
