I need help with three things with this plugin, and cannot afford to buy premium support for answers. Hopefully someone here is able to help me. I need to be able to do two things:

I need to be able to offer two separate types of payment selections for someone registering for the event: the standard price for people using offline payment options, and the pricing + a surcharge for those who use stripe. If I add a surcharge on the event pricing page, it automatically adds it into the price for everyone. With a large event, it would be a bit of a pain to manually adjust all the payments under the attendees files.

Also, the two people running the event have themselves registered, but for some reason it still has their payment as “Pending”, and won’t let me change it so that their registration is approved.

I also need help figuring out how to use the social media plugin.

This is really time sensitive, so if anyone is able to help I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it.

Hi Stephen,

One thing that might help with the surcharge that you want to charge for paying via Stripe is to use the price modifier add-on and add a question to the registration form asking if they will be paying online or offline. This way you can add 0 if their answer is offline and automatically add your surcharge to the price if they opt to pay online.

The price modifier add-on is a free download for those who opt into the pre-release channel on their account page. There’s some documentation here on how to use it:

The social media buttons plugin doesn’t require much configuration. After you install it, it basically displays three buttons on the registration page that people can click to share information about the event on FaceBook, Twitter, and Google plus. The settings to let you customize the way the buttons are displayed are covered in the documentation:

Are you able to tell me where to find the download for the Price modifier plugin? I can only seem to find the documentation for it.

It can be downloaded from your account page after you opt-in to the pre-release channel.

Ok, new question.. I need four “yes” options in the modifier plugin, and one “no”. I have the “no” in the list with the rest, but when I go to my actual event page it only shows the “yes” questions. Is there a limit on how many options you can have?

Hi Stephen,

What question type are you using? There shouldn’t be a limit.

I tried both Checkbox and radio button and the result was the same. It’s not showing the “no” option at all. I double checked and made sure that it’s in the same format as the other options also.

Hi Stephen,

I’m not aware of any quantity limits, but in this case, it may be because the no answer is set to 0. Those are not displayed since they do not modify the price.

I should probably clarify that when you’re using the price modifier feature it will only display questions with a positive or negative value (like -2.00 to subtract or 4.00 to add).

Okay. I am going to test this. Can you give me examples of your questions and answers so I can set it up the same as you have?

Sure, there are different registrations for a workshop to Cuba. I’ve converted the percentage already for the different tuition options if someone decides to use an online payment option instead of offline. The options are:

Will you be paying using an online method such as a Credit or Debit card?*
Yes US-Citizen Double [ add $98.32 ]
Yes Non-Citizen Double [ add $87.75 ]
Yes Student [ add $77.15 ]
Yes Single Supplement [ add $10.88 ]

If the No option adds zero it will not display. So you might try adding some text to your question explaining that if they are paying by cash they can skip to the next question.
