I have a pretty complicated variety of tickets I need to implement and am having trouble figuring out the best way.
My client offers art workshops. She will have one instructor offer 1, 2 or 3 days of workshops where you can buy just one, but if you buy them all you get a discount. Additionally, for the whole weekend, she needs to take a deposit and a way to pay the remaining balance.
I currently have that set up as one event with each of those options as a different tickets. But this seems to confuse the total ticket count.
Another way to handle it would be to sell each workshop individually, then I would need a way to automatically offer a set discounted price if they signed up for two or three. Is this possible?
You can see what I’m talking about on my development site at:
Event Espresso can’t automatically apply a discount if a certain number of events have been selected for registration.
The other issue is that each ticket is counted as a registrant so selecting a deposit + a final payment would count as two spots even though there may be one guest.
The closest workaround that I can think of would be to raise the datetimes limit for the weekend a little higher than the actual available spots and then reduce it as the event date approaches.
