Hi there,

Our problem is that the last 4 registrations that have come in have no name or email.

When I click on Event Overview, click on the event and then on the attendee list, there is no name appearing in the first column. When you click in Edit Attendee, the First Name, Last Name and Email fields are missing on all the registrations in this one particular event. Its fine for all the rest of the events – just this one has the problem.

Thanks

Morag Reid

Hello Morag,

This is strange, the basic name and email is a requirement.
Is this a new event recently made?
Have their been other registrations in that event that are ok?
Have you added any new plugins/themes recently?
What is your website?
What version of WordPress and EventEspresso are you running?

Sorry for all the questions, trying to get an overall picture.

Hi Dean,

The event was created back in July. People have been registering but more so recently since the event is only 2 weeks away.

As I said, prior to these most recent 4, you can see the name in the attendee list, but in the detail the name and email are missing.

The most recent plugin was a Flickr plugin, but that was about a month ago.

The website is http://www.wholisticwomanretreats.com (let me know if you want a login).

Event Espresso Version 3.1.25.P (I see there is a newer one but haven’t had time to install it).

WordPress version 3.3.1

I have updated Event Espresso to the most recent version and that hasn’t helped. We are expecting a LOT of registrations in the next few days!!!

Is there some order to how these support questions are answered. Because it seems to me that this is a pretty serious problem and I’ve gotten one response in the 2 days. I’d check out the premium support, but I’d like an estimate of time for I do that and there doesn’t seem to be a way to ask. Just “Buy”. This is very frustrating. PLEASE can someone respond.

Thanks

Hello Morag.

Well I would test the Flickr plugin (deactivate and test to see if it has caused issues) just on the off chance.

Yes please send your login details via https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

Regarding the forum responses, we do try and respond to matters as quickly as we can. Is there an order? No not for standard forum posts, though the support staff obviously try and prioritise as necessary.

The Priority Support Tokens are there to obtain more technical, detailed and faster responses.

Hi Dean,

The first thing I did was deactivate all the plugins except EE and that didn’t fix it. Besides, if it were a plugin wouldn’t it affect all events? Also, I heard this morning from the event coordinator, that when she exports the registrations the Name and Email are missing from ALL registrations, not just the most recent ones.

Anyway, I shall send the requested information as instructed.

Thanks

Morag Reid

In order for us to capture this information, I have added the name and email fields to the address group. Don’t get confused and think its been fixed. Its not.

@mreid thanks for sending the login credentials and sorry for the delay. We have been absolutely slammed this week.

I went in and re-saved the event that was missing the questions and it seems to be working now. I registered for the two different events and my information appeared in the attendee overview.

Something strange was happening to my questions and question groups, which created this exact same problem for me. So in case anyone else has this experience: if you have custom question group “X” associated with the event, check to make sure that there is at least one question associated with the question group “X”.

Ok, this is weird. When I update/save an event, it looks fine. Whenever anyone else with admin access updates/saves events, the Personal Information fields disappear. What could be causing this to happen?

@James please deactivate the Role and Permissions addon for now. We are working these bugs right now and should have an update soon.

Has there been any update on this issue?

I am experiencing the exact same problem with a couple of my forms. The “required” personal information (first name, last name, email) fields disappear for no apparent reason. If I go into that event and hit update, the form looks and work perfectly. When I pull up the form days later, I see the personal info is gone again. Very frustrating as I can’t determine how this happens.
