I’ve installed this as a lite version prior to purchasing it to see if it can do what I want. Group registrations cause a mysql error. My friend has the paid version, and there is a dropdown to choose questions when allowing group registrations that isn’t in the lite version. Is the software bugged specifically to cause you to purchase it?

No, we’ve worked on a fix for the lite version, but haven’t had a chance to update it yet.

We will need to port and test it. It’s not a simple one line fix. What it involves is porting over the paid version of Event Espresso to the free version. What I can suggest is to sign up for the free test drive. This will give you a better idea of what the paid version is capable of, as the lite version does not include many of the features that the paid version includes.

It was my understanding the lite version supported group sign up.

It did, and will when it’s fixed, but right now this feature is broken.
