My Events Table – Remove Columns?

Greetings!

I would like to remove the “Type” and “Time” columns in the My-Events table. I don’t have any problems removing the columns through the custom files, but when I delete the <th> and corresponding <td> elements, the sorting and Live Search Filter features disappear. Is there a way to remove those columns without losing those features?

We have an open ticket to make some changes to make hiding columns easier, but right now yeah all you can do is edit the core file.

What you are missing is that you edited the HTML, but there is javascript affecting it too. If you find the script near the bottom of the my_events_page.php file you will see a short list of “null”‘s

If you comment two out (equivilent number to the lost columns) it will reactivate the live search box.
