Your plug-in looks ideal for our club. We are looking for a way to handle RSVPs for events. I have downloaded your lite version to try it out, but need the calendar function and roles and permissions function so I would like to purchase your product. Before I do, I haven’t been able to find answers to the below question. 1. Do you have a “my account” feature that will show members a list of the events to which they have RSVPed? 2. Do you have a way of automatically e-mailing the convenor of an event with the RSVPs? 3. Do you have an e-mail reminder function to remind members of events the day prior to an event? 4. We are currently using the WP-Members plug-in to manage our membership. Does your plug-in manage members or is will I still use WP-Members in combination with your plug-in? Thanks for your help! |

Hi, 1. Do you have a “my account” feature that will show members a list of the events to which they have RSVPed? Yes we do so long as the WP User Integration add on is activated and the user is logged in (they need to be logged in when making the rgeistration in order for it to be logged). They can see the details from the profile or we have a shortcode that can display the data on the front end of the site. 2. Do you have a way of automatically e-mailing the convenor of an event with the RSVPs? If I understood correctly, then yes. In each event you can add a different email for the admin emails to go to, they can be chained by a comma (one@ee.com, two@ee.com) and they over ride the default admin email, so its advisable to have the site admin email in there as well. 3. Do you have an e-mail reminder function to remind members of events the day prior to an event? Unfortunately nothing automated, however you can mass email the attendees of an event in one go. 4. We are currently using the WP-Members plug-in to manage our membership. Does your plug-in manage members or is will I still use WP-Members in combination with your plug-in? You will still need the membership plugin as Event Espresso does not manage members, registrations or logins. WP User Integration and the Roles and Permissions addons help with different areas of members, but do not control any registration, login etc. I hope that helps, please let me know if you have more questions or need clarification on anything. |

Thanks, Dean. I purchased your plugin, but cannot figure out what you’re referring to in #2 above regarding the admin emails. I cannot for the life of me find a field in which to add/edit email addresses and cannot find anything in your online documentation about this issue. Would you kindly explain in further detail how this is done or point me to documentation with instructions? Appreciate it! |
Hi Serena, Here’s what the field looks like. This is a direct link to the part of the documentation where the alterate email address option lives: |
