I have a Museum and have 2 kinds of tours.

one with dinner and a max of 30 people
one just visiting up to 60 people

different prices for each
different prices for kids, grown ups,
different prices for groups kids, groups grown ups (minimum 6 people)

So when I start an event I can offer for example upt to 60 cards, but I dont know WHO is booking. I don’t know how many price categories I will sell.

Any ideas?

Hi, what is the maximum amount of registrants that should be able to visit your museum?

Would it be 30 + 60 = 90 possible attendees/registrants?

The mximum is about 200 people. one group eating and several groups just visiting with several guides starting at several points of the museum.

So lets say 60 people can eat and 140 can visit with 4 groups the museum.

But these groups book not in one fixed group. I collewct them and make groups wit them. So there are maybe 10 people who book together and 20 of another group. But they are together in one group.

I can define dates and times where I want to start the dinner group and the just visitor group.

I hope I made it clear :-).

Hi,

Really it depends on how you want to separate the registrations and how exactly you want to structure the pricing for groups.

You mention in your first post the max values are 30 and 60, but in your last reply its 200, so I’m assuming the 200 is spread across all of the tours active at one time?

Within Event Espresso you can set limits on a per datetime basis (which you would likely have 1 per tour time) and also per ticket basis (which you would need at least 3 per datetime although possibly more)

This allows you to setup multiple different ticket types that apply to a datetime, a sale of ANY of those tickets will apply to sold value for that datetime, one that limit is reached the event will be sold out.

So for the dinner tour you could sell 30 single tickets and the datetime will be sold out, or you would sell 12 single tickets and 18 of the group ticket type. 12 + 18 = 30 so again the datetime sells out.

I would recommend taking a look at our EE4 demo site and sign up to Test Drive Event Espresso 4 you’ll then see how this works a litte better.

Does that help?
