if you notice I have multiple ticket selector short codes here. but what I would really like is for them to be able to pick all their tickets and click add to cart once.
also if you add something to the cart and click back to shopping it goes to the totally wrong place.

Currently that’s not available unless all of the tickets are within a single event, each ticket selector submits the tickets separately.

The MER modal uses the default events listing (on your site that’s /tickets/) but you can change that and direct the button wherever you need to using:
ok then is there a way in the ticket selector to group the tickets in a certain way such as I have done on this page? with a heading on each group section?
Not currently, all of the tickets would be shown within a single collection for the user to select from.
However you could include the description within the ticket name, for example:
CONFERENCE ADMISSION – Regular Admission (Pre-Registration)
CONFERENCE ADMISSION – Student Admission (Pre-Registration)
SOCIAL EVENTS & MISCELLANEOUS – Awards Luncheon – Additional Tickets
SOCIAL EVENTS & MISCELLANEOUS – NOTES: Basics of Modal Analysis for the New/Young Engineer
You can also include additional details for each ticket type within the ticket description and enable the ‘More details’ section within the ticket selector to allow users to view that.
