Hello all,

I would like to create one button / link to add multiple events at the same time to the basket.

I tried to use the following code: [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=720-719-717-714-709-525-509-497 anchor=’Registreer voor de lessenreeks’] as explained at https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-event-registration-add-on/. However I have EE4 installed instead of EE3 so this is not working.

I also tried the short code [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=720]. However this shortcode is only for one event and I need to add multiple events to the basket at the same time.

Do you know how to create a ticket selector for multiple events?

Thanks.

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

It turns out the cart in EE4 doesn’t work that way. The ticket buyer will need to add each of their selections to the cart.

However, if you have multiple date times within an event, they can all be assigned to one ticket. This way, they just add that one ticket to the cart, and they’ll gain access to all of the date times assigned to that ticket.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your quick and nice reply.

We have multiple date times within an event. I guess it is no option for us to assign all events to one ticket, because some customers do not buy the whole package of events. Some just need one ticket for a single event. Because of ticket stock reasons we add all events as single tickets. So it is still important for us to find way to create a selector that combines multiple tickets.

Thanks.

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

I think the Multiple Event Registration add-on could help. Once enabled, then it will introduce a shopping cart option to your site.

Then you could add several ticket selectors (from different events) to a WordPress page and publish it. That will allow a guest to register for multiple events at once and then complete registration checkout once instead of one per event.

There is a video walkthrough here:

Hi Lorenzo,

Many thanks for your reply. I tried the Multiple Event Registration add-on. As far as I understand this plugin is not suitable for us because we would like to force people to add multiple events in their shopping cart via one link. In the previous version of EE it was possible to create one link for the registration of multiple events via one single link.

Hopefully it is also possible using EE4 to create one link as a ticket selector for multiple events. Do you know how to create this single link?

Many thanks.

Patrick
