Hello there! I’m running into a roadblock when registering multiple attendees. I have several “Attendee Types” (different prices) and multiple add-on activities.Unfortunately, this is quickly making to registration process highly complex and redundant for the user. Here are my different registration options:

General Admission

Member $400
Nonmember $450
Student $20
Spouses $30

Additional Activities (Optional)

Golf Outing $75
Welcome Reception $50
Keynote Luncheon $75
Tour and Dinner $85

Technically, the activities would be attached to a general registration, so no additional information would be needed. The problem I have is there seems to be no way to link the items to the general admission tickets. The solutions I have tried:

1. Creating separate tickets for admission type and each additional activity. This results in the user having to add registration information up to 5 times for each attendee (one for each additional activity). A lot of excess work for the user!

2. Attaching the Additional Activities to the general admission (e.g. Member General Admission + Golf Outing etc.). Unfortunately, there are so many possible combinations I would end up with an enormous number of ticket options.

Any help in making this process more efficient would be so greatly appreciated!

You can avoid this by unchecking all of the boxes under “Questions for Additional Registrants”.

Thanks Josh,

Unfortunately, it would then be unclear who was actually registered for the event. We would only be able identify the primary registrant, which could create a lot of difficulty during check in. We need to have the tickets assigned, but without having to gather the contact information for each additional item. Does that make sense?

I am having this exact same issues. We have about 25 different levels to register for a conference, and there are 5 add-on activities (golf, breakfast, lunch, etc.) that each attendee can choose. I want names attached to who is attending the lunch, but I can’t find a way to separate those activities for each user so they don’t have to retype their info for each activity.

Thanks,
Dirk Lammers

Per ticket registration questions would be very useful – essentially the use case is selling additional add-ons to a ticket which are not person based but object based e.g. if I sell a golf ticket I might want to ask for a handicap, if I sell a t-shirt I might want size and m/f. But at the moment we have to select questions at an event level.

Adding functionality to sell add ons with adjustable questions OR allowing for questions to be asked at a ticket level would be a nice feature. I suspect this might be in the feature backlog for EE4 already?
