I’ve just recieved the following message for each of the below tables: Database table clrc_esp_answer exists when it shouldn’t, and may contain erroneous data. If you have previously restored your database from a backup that didn’t remove the old tables, then we recommend adding Tables: clrc_esp_attendee_meta clrc_esp_checkin clrc_esp_country clrc_esp_currency clrc_esp_currency_payment_method clrc_esp_datetime clrc_esp_datetime_ticket clrc_esp_event_message_template clrc_esp_event_meta clrc_esp_event_question_group clrc_esp_event_venue clrc_esp_extra_meta clrc_esp_line_item clrc_esp_log clrc_esp_message clrc_esp_message_template clrc_esp_message_template_group clrc_esp_payment clrc_esp_payment_method clrc_esp_ticket_price clrc_esp_question clrc_esp_question_group_question clrc_esp_question_option clrc_esp_registration clrc_esp_registration_payment clrc_esp_state clrc_esp_status clrc_esp_transaction clrc_esp_price clrc_esp_price_type clrc_esp_ticket clrc_esp_question_group |

I should add that no changes have been made. This just happened… |
You might check with your host to see if they moved your site to a new server where they migrated the data from one database to another. |

We haven’t moved in a long time (6+ months). Would these messages have popped up on a delay for some reason? Any other reason they’d show up now? |
Hi Matthew For now you’re safe to just dismiss those messages, as no action actually took place. If it happens again please try to take note of any actions that might have caused it and let us know. > Would these messages have popped up on a delay for some reason? Any other reason they’d show up now? No those messages should appear immediately on installation or upgrade when we’re adding a table that shouldn’t exist before, but does somehow. We use the WP option “espresso_db_update” to keep track of what version of EE existed in the past. If somehow that option is missing (or we try to read it and somehow that doesn’t work) then the system thinks EE was just activated, and so tries to add those tables. So this could happen if that WP option got removed or broken somehow, or if it temporarily wasn’t available. It might be helpful if you could grab your system info (go to maintenance -> System Information and copy the contents of “Raw System Data” textbox) and email it to support@eventespresso.com. That might give us some clues. |
