Multiple Sites to One EE System

Hey guys-
I am launching a 2nd site that will have similar but different events offered. We want there to be one unified login for all members regardless of which site they are on, and the information to go to one EE backend system.

Crude example would be that abc.com would allow a user to login and register, and xyz.com does same as well…but we would only go to abc.com admin screens and be able to see both. Members would see history of events, etc as normal via the members plugin.

Is this possible?

Can we mask the URL of one site to the other to make it work?

We do not need ticketing, and have been considering the Multisite features of WordPress based off of thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-espresso-wordpress-mu/

If we need to have it custom built we are open to that idea too.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

I don’t believe that it would be possible to interlink two sites in this way.

If you would like you can send in a customisation request here https://eventespresso.com/contact/customization-request-form/ to see what the devs say on it.

Plus from an Event Espresso perspective you would require a secondary licence.

Event Espresso may work with Multi-site, but we have not specifically created it to work with multi-site and don’t support that feature currently, so it’s a case of use at your own risk.
