We run an annual convention of 1000+ attendees with meals and souvenir sales. Many of our attendees like to register multiple guests. Is it possible to have the optional items attached to the guests being registered by one person.

Main: Robert
Chicken $50
XXL T $25
Guest 1: Jane
Beef $50
S T $25
Guest 2: Jerry
XL T $25

Total: $175

Also, is there a way of assigning consecutive badge numbers? For additional guests?

Is it possible to allow folks to come back and purchase additional meals and souvenirs without purchasing an additional registration?

Hello Robert,

I responded to your email, but thought I’d also post the response here, so others can benefit as well.

Thank you for your interest in Event Espresso.

Yes, we do have functionality that allows you to set up multiple ticket prices for events which will allow the registrant to purchase multiple tickets to the event and enter the additional attendees’ information.

Out of the box, Event Espresso isn’t designed to sell products, but there is a workaround that we use quite often in order to accomplish it. We will be glad to assist with that.

As far as setting consecutive badge numbers, each person that is registered is given an attendee ID, which is included on their ticket/badge.

Unfortunately, once a person registers, if they want to add additional information/attendees, that will need to be done by an admin in the dashboard. We are working on ways to make this more end user friendly.

Please feel free to request a non-profit discount on a support license using the form on this page. The turnaround time for processing those requests is usually within 1 business day.

Please let me know if you have further questions. We look forward to working with you.

Is there a timeline when this feature would be available?

Hi Julie,

I don’t have a timeline. Have you used the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] shortcode? With that code you can allow attendees to review the date and times of the events, and make payments for events they’ve signed up for. If the custom ticket add-on is installed, tickets can be downloaded for each of these events.

I have not seen that short code. Is there somewhere I can look to see the full functionality? Thanks!

Hi,

It is a new shortcode added with the WP User Integration (Members) add on in version 1.9.5.
