I set the event. There’s two prices. $20 for adults $10 for kids. I’ve allowed group registration. The required information seems to working great and populates for multiple people.. but how do i get the amount to change along with the number or people they are registering? So they can pay in a lump sum.

If you want people to be able to purchase either type of ticket simultaneously with EE3, you’ll want to use the Multiple Event Registration add-on (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/). That will give the attendees the opportunity to add both types of tickets to their cart.

With EE4 that’s done a little more elegantly and in the core features: https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-ticket-pricing-options/

The amount due during checkout should change based on the number of tickets they purchase.

Does that help?

So if someone wants to register 3 adults and 4 children and pay once with the grand total in the cart this will work? Right now my prices are only showing in a drop down. $20 & $10.

EE4 looks good but i want the ticketing add-on

ok i have it working where all the adults can register at the same time and it will add then together. very cool.

Question is now how can i get it that the user can add multiple adults and multiple children at the same time with different prices.

Hi,

If you have two tickets (adult and kids) and are using Multiple Event registration, you just need to set the Allow group registrations? setting in the event. Then set Max Group Registrants to the maximum number of tickets.

Hello,

The screenshot that you posted is the page for the multiple event shopping cart. You are brought to that page after clicking on add to cart.

Are you clicking on the Add to Cart link from your event registration page?

Lorenzo,
Yes i have to click Add to Cart then Click View Cart to see that checkout. i’d rather just see that multiple event cart when they click the original link on the home page for online registration.

Hello,

You could use the redirect to cart option and then add the link to the event description area:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#add-to-cart

That would remove one of the steps.
