So here is my pitch and maybe somebody and confirm the feasibility of this;
I have EE without seating chart and I add-in a function to create username and pass when registered/paid (with my multiple prices)
Take that user/pass to login on a sub that has seating chart add-on where the seats are marked $0. This way only those who have paid can login and reserve a seat.
Kind of an extra step for those purchasing tickets but I can just have a disclaimer to those that don’t login to reserve their seat will be placed in any available spot.

Hi Harry, that should work since you are allowing payment for registrations on one site and then selecting a seat as a logged-in user under another site.
