I’ve been looking in Message Activity and the last messages that are in ‘Sent’ are on the morning of the 5th. Everything after that (when we belive the problems started happening) is in ‘Queued for Sending’, despite us knowing that these have been received sometimes multiple times.
As a possible side issue, e-mails seem to come through in a batch roughly every three hours.
What’s probably happening is there’s a fatal error getting thrown at the time the message is sent, and it does get sent, but the fatal error prevents the email from getting removed from Queued for Sending.
Here’s what you can do to fix this: 1) Delete the messages from Queued for Sending. 2) Go to Event Espresso > Messages > Sending, and set Messages to Send on Same request. 3) Bump up the amount of memory available for WordPress to prevent potential “memory exhausted” errors.
