When members click on the Register button this is what they get.
Nothing in your Event Queue
You need to select at least one event before you can proceed with the registration process.

This means no one can register for this class other than the two that signed up for the class on Dec. 23rd.

The class roster is set to max out at 16 but says it’s sold out at 15. I think it has to do with the class being originally SOLD OUT, but then someone cancelled out of class but it still reads as SOLD OUT . Maybe code wasn’t triggered to move the first person on the waitlist into the class roster. IMPORTANT TO FIX! I am sure this is happening to other classes as well. We need to make sure that if people cancel out of class (especially if it is sold out) that it triggers the first person on the waitlist into the class roster AND that an automated email is sent to the waitlisted person that they are now on the class roster.

Please see Loom video:

– The client is STILL not receiving emails that people are cancelling out of classes. She should be receiving a TIME/DATE stamped automated email everytime a member cancels out of a class. Old issue. Still not fixed.

When someone is automatically promoted, an email is sent to the person to confirm their registration. You should see in your Event Espresso > Messages > Message Activity tab, an email to that person called “Registration Promoted From Wait List Notification”. At this point, the attendee’s registration status is set to “Pending Payment.” While the payment function may not apply in your situation, the “Pending Payment” status is being used here as a pending status to indicate that we are awaiting action from the attendee. In this case, attendees need to confirm their registration to indicate that they still plan to attend. If they do not confirm within a specified time frame, their registration should be canceled, allowing the system to offer the spot to someone else. This ensures that only attendees who actively confirm their interest are marked as Approved. Once someone confirms their registration, their status is changed from Pending Payment to Approved.

Do you see your system sending those emails out to attendees?

Regarding the cancellation emails. Are the Registration Cancelled email templates set up properly? Is the system sending the Registration Cancelled emails? You can check that in Messages > Messages Activity.
