Hi there,
Unfortunately, when visitors to our live website and try to add various events to the cart the list of events within the shopping cart does not show the correct list, even after clearing the cart. We are up to date with Event Espresso (3.1.37.8.P) and latest version of WordPress. Please can you help? Site is http://alderneyperformingartsfestival.com/event-registration/

Thank you very much,
Caroline

Hi Caroline,

You can resolve this issue by adding your Event Espresso pages to the exclusion / no-cache rules for WP super cache which is a caching plugin on your WordPress website.

We have a guide here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/#wpsupercache

Note that you should add your actual page slugs and then clear the cache. The defaults for Event Espresso 3 are:

/event-registration/
/thank-you/
/transactions/
/registration-cancelled/

Hi Lorenzo,
Thanks for your reply. However, I cannot see WP Rocket or any reference to WP Super Cache in the admin? Can you let me know where please?

Or do these need to be installed as Plugins?

Thank you!

Hi Caroline,

Your site shows WP-Super-Cache in the page sources, so lets check for that first.

If you go to your Dhasboard on your site, hover over settings.

Do you see ‘WP Super Cache’ in the list there? – http://take.ms/sWJXR

Hi Tony,
No, unfortunately I can’t see that in our Settings list.

Hi Tony/Lorenzo,
I have just activated the WP-Super-Cache plugin!

Ok, first go to Dashboard -> Settings -> WP Super Cache.

Disable the caching and save the settings. (wait for the page to refresh)

Then click the ‘Delete Cache’ button.

That disables caching and clears the current cache you have on the site.

Then retest adding an event to the cart, does it now show the correct dates?

(Note caching should be completely disabled at this point)
