Multiple Events Registered but Only One Event ID in Admin and Emails

We are using Event Expresso (Version 3.1.33.3.P) with the Multi Events Registration addon (Version 1.0.4 Multiple) in WordPress 3.5.2.

When an individual registers for multiple events, the program seems to use the same event ID info (i.e., for the first event in the list), even when referring to other events that are included in the MER. For example, an individual registers for these three events:

Event 1 – Rock Concert

Event 2 – Classical Concert

Event 3 – Poetry Symposium

In the admin, when surveying the data for this person registered for any of these, it will always show Event 1 – Rock Concert, even when looking up the data for one of the other events for this individual.

This is also reflected in emails that are sent. So if a follow-up email is sent confirming payment for the Classical Concert or Poetry Symposium, it will actually show the title and id for Event 1 – Rock Concert, which is confusing to the customer. Of course, the follow-up email can be customized on an individual basis, but this is time consuming and can introduce errors into the process. Preferably, the program will link the correct event ID automatically in all emails and in the admin.

Are we missing something in the configuration? Is this a glitch in the software? If so, is there a solution or work-around?

Thanks in advance for any help provided with this issue.

I did a test registration for workshops 1 and 2. I received 2 different emails, one for workshop 1 and one for workshop 2.
In Event Espresso 3.1 (current version) each attendee that registers who has personal information collected for them (first name, last name, and email) is entered in a separate individual. So if you look under attendees for workshop 1, you should see an entry there for me. And if you look under attendees for workshop 2, you should see another entry there.
In the next generation version under current development, Event Espresso 4.0, an individual who registers for multiple events will be entered in the database as a single individual, and has a list attached of all the events they have registered for. You can achieve something similar with EE 3.1, by pulling up all the instances of attendees with the same email address, but under the hood the way the data is structured is different.

Hi Sidney: Thanks for the looking into this. I just resent the confirmation email for workshop 2 so please take a look at it. When I went to the attendees for workshop 2 and clicked on your name, the heading for the record that opens is for workshop 1. And when I click to go back to all attendees for workshop 2 it takes me to workshop 1. Perhaps the upgrade will fix this but I wanted to show you what my registrants have reported to me. Thanks again.

I got the email, it was for Workshop #2.
I’ll take a look at the admin navigation issue. Thanks.
