Hi, I wasn’t clear on this from reading the documentation. I want to run three separate registrations on the same site for three different conferences. I know there is an add on for multiple events however I don’t want people to have the ability to choose between the events when registering. I want them to go to a separate checkout/registration/etc. for the event that they choose. Am I able to do this? Or do I have to use the Multiple Event add on that allows them to choose which I think will easily confuse our registrants (it’s a group of people who are EASILY confused, LOL…)

Hi there,
I may be misunderstanding what you’re trying to do, but wouldn’t you just create 3 events within EE?
The Multi Event Registration add-on allows users to add multiple tickets from multiple events to a ‘cart’ and then check out for those events all at once. That does not sound like what you want to do from the above.
For 3 conferences I’d have 3 separate events, the user clicking on whichever conference they want to attend and then selects the ticket(s) from the options you have set on that event. They then check out and pay, for that specific event.
Is that not what you are looking for?

Thanks, what I want to do is have three separate sections of the site, each with a register button for that specific event, so when a user clicks on it, they only see that event when they register. However, now that I’m thinking about it more, I don’t think I can do it because each event is going to have different payment settings/payment processors and currencies. It doesn’t look to me like I can do that within one install of EE?

You can’t do separate currencies in a single install, but you can have multiple payment processors and assign specific payment methods to specific events with the payment methods pro add-on:

The separate events would just be single events within EE but if you want separate currencies you’d need to break each site out on its own, say EE on the main site, then another install under /us/ and another under /uk/ for example.
