Where do I install the add-on file? My download only contains a php file and it is not zipped so I can’t add from WordPress dashboard. I assume I need to FTP file, but need to know where to place it. Thanks |
Hello Terry, You can either compress the file and upload it in the WP dashboard. Or, you can create a new folder called “espresso-multiple” and place it in the wp-content/plugins directory via FTP. |

Jonathan, I compressed the file and uploaded via WP dashboard. It says it’s installed and active, but there are no changes visible on my events registration page. Do I need to edit some setting for the multiple registration to be displayed? Also, where do I go to customize the multiple event choices? Thanks |

Hi Terry, Multiple Event Registration (MER for short) does not have any options in the back end. When active your events in the event list will have an additional add to cart link, which when clicked will add the event to cart, a View cart link will show in its place to take the user to the cart itself. If you want the add to cart link to display in the events themselves use this shortcode https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#add-to-cart
You can add additional prices in each event – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/add-new-event/#event-pricing Let us know if you have more questions. |

Thanks Dean – I’m almost here! I want to display the event list both by categories, and in a certain order. How do I combine these 2 into a short code? |

One additional question, in the event list, can I suppress the “View Details” link on a particular event and have only the “add to cart” display? My goal is for the event list to have both the registration and view details link on only one event, with some additional event items that can be added to the cart only without viewing their details. |

Hi Terry, Regarding the ordering, the Event List shortcode does take additional parameters, so perhaps use one of the SORT options? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-list You can suppress the view cart link, but to do it with such specificity, you would need to use PHP or jQuery to target the right ones to remove. |
