Hello,
Assuming I purchase this addon and implement it in my Event Espresso setup; I’m wondering if I can use the “Promotions & Discount Codes” addon in conjunction with this? (*Note: I already have a license for that addon).
If I create a discount code for an event, and then if an attendee was to register for multiple events (after I have implemented the “multiple events registration” addon), will the discount code for an event be usable with in the shopping cart for the multiple event registrations?

Hi there,
When you create a promotion or coupon code, you explicitly indicate which events the promotion code will work with. So, you can choose whether to allow the promotion code to be used on only one, or multiple events. Your choice.

I appreciate the quick response! Yes I understand that part, as I have used the Promo Codes addon many times. The main point of my question is: will the created discount code show up in the “Multiple Event Registration” addon shopping cart?

Yes, the promotions add-on works with Multi Event Registration (MER for short).
MER sits in between the ticket selector submissions and the single page checkout (SPCO for short), which is where all registrations normally go through.
The promotions field you are referring to loads on the Payment Options step of SPCO, it loads after/outside of Multi Event Registration. So MER basically manages the multiple ticket submissions and formats them in a way SPCO can understand and then SPCO takes over and handles the registrations in the same way it would without MER, including working with the promotions add-on 🙂
