Hey how does multiple event registration work? Can a user essentially still checkout as a ‘guest’ without creating an account or anything? Also can I use the same registration information for each event (so the user doesn’t have to fill it out for each event). I want this to work out of the box if I’m going to spend $100 on it so I just wanted to make sure before purchasing. Thanks!

Hey how does multiple event registration work?

Essentially it’s a cart, you add tickets to the cart from various events and then checkout at the end when you no longer want to add additional tickets.

Can a user essentially still checkout as a ‘guest’ without creating an account or anything?

Multi Event Registration (MER for short) does not require the user to create an account no, but default the difference you will see on the site is when you add select tickets you’ll see a popup on the page showing they have been added to the cart which allows you to continue adding more or checkout.

Also can I use the same registration information for each event (so the user doesn’t have to fill it out for each event).

That depends on your event setup, if you only require questions for the Primary Registrant on the events then they will only need to add the details once, if you request details for additional registrants they will need to answer those questions for additional tickets.

I want this to work out of the box if I’m going to spend $100 on it so I just wanted to make sure before purchasing.

I’ve created a quick example on one of our demo sites here:

http://demoee.org/tony-demo/events/

If you prefer to sign up to Test Drive Event Espresso 4 and post your demo site here I’ll activate MER on that site for you.

The test drive link just redirected me to http://demoee.org/

I’m just going to go ahead and buy it though. There’s 30 day money back guarantee right?

It will do, if you want to demo MER I can activate it on a demo site you create there.

However this link: http://demoee.org/tony-demo/events/

Shows you have MER will work on the site.

I’m just going to go ahead and buy it though. There’s 30 day money back guarantee right?

Sure.

Do I have to pay every year for this? Or is it I just have to pay for new updates after a year is over? Also can I change the link of the “Return to Events List” button to take me to my event calendar page?

License entitle you to support and updates for one year from the dat of purchase, if you don’t renew you can continue to use the version you currently have.

Also can I change the link of the “Return to Events List” button to take me to my event calendar page?

Yes, the URL is filtered so you can use something like this:

Add the function to a custom functions plugin on your site to change the URL to whatever you provide in the above:
