I have several events set up. If I add a couple to the basket I am able to select radio buttons for the first attendee, but those for the second are inactive and, as they’re required, this stops progress through registration.

Can you provide a link to the registration page?

Sorry, it’s only local at the moment: under development.

Hi,

Without seeing the setup it will be hard to pinpoint, but I am not seeing any issues on a local site using the latest versions of the plugins.

Could you walk us through your set up please? What questions were added, to which question groups, do both primary and additional need to answer these questions etc etc. The more info the easier it will be to duplicate the setup and therefore test.

Not quite ready to put this on a remote server yet. I have three questions (simple yes/no’s that could be radio buttons or checkboxes: I’ve tried both). They are in a Question Group, which is added to each of several events. If I put more than one event in the cart, only the radio buttons for the first event are editable. Actually, if I make them simple ‘yes’ checkboxes they *all* seem to be linked: eg clicking the second or third checkbox in the first event checks/unchecks the first… and the same happens in the second event!

Still not able to reproduce it. You can try it here (put both ‘test event’s in the cart). It sounds like a javascript error. Are you on the latest version of EE and have you made any modifications?

I’m using v3.1.36.P and haven’t made any modifications yet. Currently testing with a cut-down set of questions (just the required personal info and the radio buttons). I’ll try to put it on a remote server on Monday so that you can hopefully see what the problem might be. Thanks.

Hi Robin,

Yes, that would be great if you could, as neither Sidney or me are seeing any issues here.

Hi Dean/Sidney

I’ve now set up the site at http://icasm2015.urltbc.com

Click ‘Registration and Booking’ and add a Monday and Tuesday Day Pass to the cart. When you get through to the attendee info page, select ‘Yes’ for the first radio-button question under ‘Day Pass, Monday’ then scroll down to the same button under ‘Day Pass, Tuesday’, you should see what I mean.

I still can’t figure out why it is doing that on your site and not on my site. I set up my questions identically to yours.
I do, however, have a fix for you:
Go into includes/functions/form_build.php and edit line 151 to read:

$value_id = 'SINGLE_' . $question->id . '_' . $key . '_' . $attendee_number . $multi_name_adjust;

P.S. There is an update available for you. It looks like you are on 3.1.36 and the current is 3.1.36.1.

Thank you, Sidney… that worked 🙂

(I’ve not updated to 3.1.36.1 as I haven’t yet activated the licence key: waiting until the site is on production server/domain.)

Hi Robin,

You can still update, you just need to do so manually. We have a guide posted here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/#update_manually

Always best to keep with the latest version of Event Espresso 😉
