Multiple emails being sent confirming approval

Hi, we have a process by which we approve our attendees and then send them an email so they can pay via Paypal. I was just notified by one of our attendees that she received this email 10 times! How can I resolve this issue?

The first step would be to reproduce this issue. If you can, then try deactivating other WordPress plugins. So plugins can execute code when someone submits a registration that could potentially re-fire the email scripts.
