Each occurrence of an event is created as its own event. Each occurrence is also displayed in the calendar. We recommend doing it this way so that you can control attendance for each event and keep the data clear about when people registered. You can use the Multiple Event Registration addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) which can help configure a series of events. However, if you want people to always register for the same event in the back-end of Event Espresso then you could add an Alternative Registration URL to the event options for each subsequent from the first event. That will setup the subsequent events so they are redirected to the first event to register.
You’ll have to make the first event a little more generic so people don’t get confused about which date they’re registering for…
