Hello, I have a client that has been using this plugin for years now. They are nearing the end of their yearly event registration and we have what appear to be some bugs in the system. When going to Event Overview > Click on Attendees – This screen has some issues. Here are a few things my client mentioned: Please get back to me as soon as possible. I would like to have these issues resolved as they relate directly to the functionality of the plugin. Thank you, Matt |

Sorry, I was copying and pasting, and can’t seem to edit the post, this sentence does not belong in the first occurrence: “Also, I can register someone for the conference but” |

Hi Matt,
I think I can see the issue, but can you explain a little more on this? What steps are you currently take to show the incorrect numbers?
When a user registers onto an event, the registration status for that event is Incomplete until payment is made, incomplete registrations do NOT apply to the event. However, it is possible this has been changed. If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. That is the default setting for your event,s although each even can override this. |

I had both settings set to pending and the client was reporting that they were all coming back paid. This was as of the 3.8.2 – 3.8.3 WordPress Upgrade. Prior to that everything was working fine. I have taken your advice and set them both to incomplete. I’ll ask the client to report back to me. As for the numbers that are not matching up go to: If I click on the 220/999999 attendees link from the overview page, the next set of attendees is All (224), This month (224), Today (224). This is obviously incorrect, and we didn’t have all attendees register today, it was over the past 3 months. It’s these little variances that make my clients worried that the system is not recording all the attendee information correctly. Add in reports coming back from people not being able to register when there is no limits set other than no more than 20 registrations at a time and it makes them worry even more. This is a once a year event and last year they lost all of their data because of a system glitch which a fix was finally released for. I know you guys put hundreds if not thousands of hours in on this plugin, we are a plugin developer as well so I get it. We just need your support on this since these are out of the box features that need addressed. Thank you. |

Hello, It sounds like you are running a current version of WordPress which is good. What about the Event Espresso software? Is that also up to date? — |

I am using Event Espresso Version 3.1.36.4.P I would have upgraded but I didn’t see anything in the release notes that pertained to my issue. I have been getting reports back from my client that the status issue is resolved when they set the default status to Incomplete rather than Pending. Is there a reason why pending would create an error yet incomplete would not? They are using PayPal and Invoice settings if that helps. I thought that it would make most sense to set an invoice status of Pending rather than default. Please let me know if you have any other insight on this. For now, we can get by with the remaining registrations. Thank you. |

Hello, With a default payment status of incomplete, the registrant/attendee is not counted against the attendee limit until a payment is received. When its set to pending, then the attendee limit is updated immediately when a registration occurs. — |
