Hi! I want to use Event Espresso for race registration. Can I allow one person to sign up multiple attendees for different events, all in one transaction? E.g. There’s a race which has a 10K and a 5K course, and a family signs up where the father runs the 10K and the children run the 5K. I would need to know which attendees were running which distance, not just the total number of attendees per distance. Is that possible?
And is it possible to add merchandise and donations to the transaction? In a previous post you say it’s in beta…
We have a module that allows attendees to purchase simple things like a t-shirt (etc.) which increments the total price paid by that amount (+/-). It is available as a pre-release download https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/. Do you have rather complex merchandising to do or just add a shirt or something to the price of the registration?
So just to be sure, Mary could register three people – herself, John and Jack – for a race, and indicate that John is running the 5K route while she and Jack are running the 10K route?
About the t-shirts, we often give them for free, but need to know sizes. So Mary would take size S, Jack would take size M and John would take size XL. And then we’d like to offer the change to purchase extra t-shirts on top of that, and specify the size of each.
Right, Monica. They can register for multiple events and register multiple types of tickets.
I’d just use your shirt selection as a custom question. Then you could use the price-modifier if they want a different size that costs more and you can edit their selection manually in the admin area too (if needed).
