Multiple Attendee Info from 1 Registration and Teachers seeing roster/list

I have a client that has classes for 5-10yr olds. There are 4 seasons/year and therefore a possible 4 registrations per year. The parents are the users that are registering their kids. Some parents will register multiple kids. Is it possible to save multiple “kid” or attendee information so parents don’t have to re-enter data for child every season?

Additionally, the client has coaches that teach these classes. Coaches need to be able to login and see a roster/list of those kids that are registered for their specific classes. Is this possible with the people add-on?

Hello, the WP User Integration currently records information for the primary registrant/attendee. It would not store information for additional registrants (e.g. children or other guests).

Does event espresso have a way to register multiple kids from 1 parent user registration?

Yes, it does as the children would be considered as additional attendees/registrants.

For example, you could request the parents name, email, address, emergency contact information and then a different set of questions for the children (additional registrants/attendees).

Thanks. Is this part of the core or is additional attendee capability an add-on?

So if Parent 1 registers child1 and child2 as additional attendees to class, does this mean 3 individuals have registered? parent1, child1, and child2?

I just need it to be register child1 and/or child2 for class.

Additional registrations are a part of Event Espresso core.

Yes it does.

I just need it to be register child1 and/or child2 for class.

Currently Event Espresso does not have the functionality to register users under another user that is not attending the event.

You could set up your primary attendee information to request the parents details plus the first childs information but this depends on how you want your events to be set up.

I would recommend you Test Drive Event Espresso 4 so that you can see how the events work.

Hi,

EE4 WP User Integration is a separate addon from the core plugin.

It depends on how they do it:

1) The parent registers their details as a Primary Attendee and the kids as Additional Attendees. Each person will be registered (parent and children)

2) The parent registers just the children, using 1 child as the Primary Attendee and the other children as Additional Attendees. The parent answers some questions on the Primary Attendee registration that fills out basic parental info. In this case, just the children are registered.

We are currently looking at how best to adopt a system where the person registering the attendees can be noted and/or excluded from the actual registration. We haven’t figured out the best way to do that yet, but it is in discussion for a future version.
